I utilize the Opera web browser and I cleared my cookies and cache for the whole thing (Not just MSF). I even unsaved the password from my password manager (on the off chance that qualified as saved data) and logged out. It was a boatload of laughs trying to log back in as I'd completely forgotten the password and this issue interfered with my password reset.
Finally, I tried logging into MSF on Chrome which I don't use for much of anything anymore. Exact same issue

I just checked the 'keep me signed in' box next to my name and password when signing in and this seems to have solved the problem for me. I figured it was worth a try and it worked. Maybe there are other issues with different operating systems I don't know. I hope the headache goes away soon if that's the case.
