Fits and starts, although that might be the bipolar disorder talking. For me, changes in physical energy tend to predict changes in mental energy. When I'm on the up and up, in both the general and manic sense, I've been told I look like I could charge through a brick wall and keep going!
So, I guess my answer is "depends on my mood."
Have you ever had a mental health issue that required intervention while you were far from home?

Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
