I'm struggling with the problem of being devoid of motivation, myself. I feel your pain... It's totally out of my character not to be motivated. Usually, I'm a workaholic and work myself to the bone, but when I'm back at home from college, things get topsy-turvy.

I think the advice on here is helpful: one small step at a time. It reminds me of a great movie, "What About Bob?" starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfus. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it; it will most definitely get you to smile

Anyway, in that movie, Richard Dreyfus's character is a psychotherapist who treats Bob (Bill Murray). He recommends that Bob read his most recent book, "Baby Steps," which Bob feels completely revolutionizes his life, It's hard to do anything when you're stuck on the big picture: focus on one small goal at a time. It might feel like "just a drop in the bucket" but that's one drop you didn't have before, right?

[I wish I could follow my own advice as easily as I make it sound ]

Hope this helps,

J
