A little drop can make it to flow over ...

Yesterday was very good and all items on my to do list were done. Before bedtime I felt hungry, but too tired to make some food, so I ate some fruit.

I must have had a very high level of glucose through the whole night, because my bed cloth were all wet. (Wet bed cloths tells about high blood glucose). I woke up tired and became sitting and sitting with the breakfast table as if it was difficult for me to go on with the day. With my new insight from yesterday, that it can be difficult to master depression when living with diabetes, I told myself to be kind to myself.

That's exactly what I have done. I have told myself that it is OK that I am tired after a night with high glucose. And I have also said to myself that it is OK that I jumped to the easy way and ate a fruit when I should have eaten other types of food yesterday evening. Generally I try to do what is best for my diabetes, but it must be OK to not be able always.

With all these thoughts in my mind, I am going to go on with my day, self forgiving.
