Positives of Latuda: it doesn't cause QT interval prolongation like the other AAPs can (such as Geodon, for example) - or at least in studies it has been shown not to... (I don't know if that's an issue for you).

Also, it's weight-neutral.

Also it helps with bipolar depression.

What else... Hmm. It's been very effective in treating my psychosis. I take 40 mg of it. It's supposed to be more effective if you take it with food beforehand.

It hasn't quite done the trick for my complicated depression, but along with the other meds it has helped quite a bit. Anyway, I have been quite pleased with it. Beforehand I was taking Zyprexa and that caused a whole slew of negative side effects for me. Latuda has caused far fewer side effects (if any at all that are bothersome).
