Go on the app, find your ride in progress, add new address or change the address. Driver will automatically see it.

Telling a driver to enter a new address while driving or telling him to stop or exit on the highway is not a proper course of action. When you were panicking and getting flustered it jeopardized safety of his driving. He had to pull out and let you out. He was telling you to change the address in the app, but you kept panicking so he didn’t feel it was safe to continue driving. Plus you were going to report him, not sure for what, so perhaps he figured it was safer to let you out as he was possibly about to be accused of something.

Story about weapon threat does not make sense and that part I have no explanation for. I’ve no idea why he or Lyft mentioned weapons. The rest makes sense of what happened.

I agree with una about you tube videos. There are some good ones out there
The whole thing was obviously a misunderstanding. I have a panic disorder. I get stressed easily & I can’t think straight when I’m very stressed out.

I asked him to pull over at the nearest exit. I did not ask him to stop on the freeway. I did not expect him to enter the address on his phone. I did it for him when he gave it to me. I didn’t think that was a safety hazard. HE gave HIS phone to ME.

So that was HIS fault too & mine I guess. I wasn’t thinking. He definitely was wrong to drop me off on the shoulder instead of off the exit safely. What a weirdi!

I’m sure that he knew he’d get in trouble for that so he lied. I should’ve took a video & pics & called Lyft immediately. If anything like that happens again, I’ll do that. I don’t understand why they didn’t even bother to listen to my side of the story, weird!
