Well, im trying to understand this...analyze it and try to figure out a way to be at peace with it.

I told my wife tonight, "Hey, did you know you are my favorite person?"

Then, i looked her in the eyes and said, "I love you."

We talked about our respective days and i shared a super upbeat and positive account of my day.

Then, i just went and started doing things that needed to be done, like getting the ice clig out of the icemaker, wiping counters, etc., i made sure not to say that i did anything, to avoid ego stroking, but i did my best anyways.
