a lot of reasons why high gasoline prices and i m going to list the top two

1.we are experiencing a world of high ratio of inflation and high gold price(so to some extent its not the high gasoline prices but the US dollars are just going down)

2.those gas exporting countries decided not to increase the supply to bring down the prices in an early time last year cause they thought a sudden drop in price would result in some uneven movement in the globe markets.(since greedy traders they are.)
