Get some heavy duty conditioner... hair masks... put it in your hair and wrap a hot towel or make it sit on your head for about 30 minutes. Do it about once a week. Think of it as "deep conditioning." It should help. I put conditioner on my hair and put it up on a clip while I do the rest of my shower business. When I take a bath, I do the same, but for longer. A long time ago, I would buy the Suave Green Apple conditioner and put it on my hair before I went swimming... under my cap... so that my hair would smell nice after a swim. The heat from my head and the silicone cap gave extra warmth. If your ends are fried, get a trim. With long hair, if I wear a scarf, the hair on the back of my neck gets tangled. I use children's detangler for that issue before I brush my hair - children's because it smells good
