This topic made me curious as I live in a smaller town but there’s a plethora of churches. I know there’s no Unitarian church or Buddhism group here, both of which are open minded and more about social issues than converting a person. So I googled lenient church’s and a list of “laid back church’s near me” came up. You might try that as laid back churches would be less likely to try to convert you. You might try that search.
