No more will I blindly engage those who habitually use flattery as bait.
No matter the story they're flogging, a vampire is a vampire and it's best for all to steer clear of those.
While I'm not bitter...the stumbling carnival did go on far too long.

I'm learning still that practicality pairs best with reality. Too bad my mental health allowed that scenario to foment and root. I still feel misled and find it difficult to be trusting again but I'm very thankful for the insight acquired during that time. From here on in, that understanding really ought help more than hinder.

Still a bit wary though. Never happy having to be like that.
