People look at me funny when I walk for transportation. They stop and offer me a ride. But I've always done that if where I'm going is close enough. I love getting a chance to walk. Someone stole my bicycle last summer though, and I haven't gotten a new one. I was thinking about it, but my water heater leaked all over my basement, and my washing machine is leaking all over the kitchen.

I'm hoping to find a job that doesn't involve driving all over 3 counties soon. I need to look more actively for that. I've got to get through this month though. A lot of us could do something to use less fuel.
