I know what you mean. Ky is not as humid BUT we still have our weeks where even we could run Fl some competition. Walk out the door & I get drenched.
The state road department came by early in the day to clean up the tree branch they cut up after one of our storms. Great guys. Used a back hoe & got a huge broken branch out of the tree & actually cleared some other brush I had thrown into the pile. I went out around noon to clear up the big pieces that were left so I could mow. I was out maybe 45 minutes. Couldn't see through the sweat on my glasses & cloths were totally drenched. Got it cleared to mow when it cooled down a little.
My neighbors are a dairy & they carry "Haymakers punch" that doesn't taste that great but a small glass on ice really helps with dehydration & muscle cramping. It is all organic juices. I looked at what was in Gatorade & realized I didn't want to put that stuff in my body expecially when my body is really in need after working outside
