Oh, boy howdy, I lived in Chicago during that storm! If I remember correctly we got three feet of snow from that storm. My dad was in the hospital, mom was working and visiting him in the hospital. I was all of 12 years old and a mite of a thing. Our sidewalks did not get shoveled. One of the neighbors chewed me out because they weren't shoveled. I just stood there and let her rip me a new one. The me of today would probably suggest she get her fat *** out and clear the sidewalks or send her teenager boys over to do it.
