If they're doing the biopsy by going through the cervix... I don't mean to scare you, but that **** hurts! Like your friend, that was the worst pain I've ever experienced. I've had them go through the cervix 3 times. I will never do it again! Definitely take the Ibuprofen. Start the night before and then 30mins before the procedure. Definitely ask for a sedative if they will do that. Now, it is supposed to be easier for women who have had a child already, and people's pain tolerance are different, but just be prepared for it to hurt. Would rather you go in and it be easier than expected than to give you false hope that it will be nothing.
