I've been in some interesting weather conditions, from 115°F temps to fast spawning tornados to "so cold a cup of coffee becomes frozen mist when you throw it."

The wildest one though would have to be the ice storm from my senior year of high school. Freezing rain deposited about 2 inches of ice on everything. Trees fell. Some fell on people's homes. Many, many power lines fell with quite s few transformers exploding. We had no power for nearly three weeks, subsisting with a rinky-dink generator that was always one forgotten light switch away from giving out itself.

The memory that sticks out even today was the blackness when you were driving at night. Even at night, you still get property lights, light from people's homes and the faint glow of nearby towns to guide your way. Not that time. Just black as far as the eye could see! Disorienting as all get out, even knowing I was going the right way!
