I have been on a small amount of Ativan for 30 years. .5mg. Mostly for sleep and not every day.

For this entire time I have gotten the drug from CVS. And I recently - last 10 years or so I thought it was losing its effectiveness.

So CVS recently told me they were out of the drug and I got it filled at Walgreens. Guess what? It seems far more effective!! I take it and fall asleep rapidly and stay asleep. In addition my BP has gone up over the years... but when I take this... my bp is very low all night long. 110/70. Seemingly making it harder to raise during the day.

Has anyone noticed a change in the effectiveness of the medication with a change in pharmacy?
