If this entire country started walking to work, the entire WORLD could be a better place, for SOO many reasons.
I agree with Tim completely on this. Didn't read all the posts.
To pay for ^ I am selling my car, my husband's car, our old piece-o-%#@&#! car ($300 plus $100 for the car seat and stroller!) and he is going to BEG Chrysler to get him out of his lease on a lemon truck that has been a thorn in our side and a source of marital problems for nearly 36 months (in August...)
We will take the bus to work. I, personally (with help) audited our local transportation department, and they are doing excellent financially!! I just want to add to that, hell it's job security if I don't get fired over all this
I need to lose about 100 pounds, give or take, depending on how many pounds I gained today eating and eating everything that contains sugar....yes, I am VERY much hypomanic, possibly manic, possibly mixed, but VERY impulsive.
I am going to this place anyway, I may as well do it all in one shot. I'm going to switch to...get this: Organic, local only, VEGAN, but with FISH (for the fish oil) and occasional chicken just for the heck of it.
No red meat, no dairy products (they give me gas anyways...) and no pork.
Maybe also Kosher, because of all my "God" stuff lately, what the hell throw it in too.
My sister just so happens to be a registered dietician at a hospital. I am going to see if she, personally, can oversee my diet. If not, cool, I'll take what they give me. This is going to be like the Biggest Loser, or Body for Life, for me. I want to come back at 121 pounds and healthy and happy and I want my husband to get to the point where he is ready to "%#@&#! or get off the pot" and propose to me like I wanted him to do 7 years ago but he never did.
If that doesn't happen, I realize that is okay, and I just want the support in place to handle it all.
My backup plan is to move in with my aging parents and help with the care of my father, who is in his 80's and has Alzheimer's.
