Thanks Eskie and Violetta, for your thanks for my contribution to this thread. Well, it was wild to ME. As of today it's just you two....
Now the Southwest is having something that has not happened in 84 years. We don't get tropical storms, mostly fires and heat. Some places are closed, National Guard is on standby, local officials are "ready" (sure they are), the Navy has moved their ships away from San Diego, weather alerts pop up my phone, TV, and radio, some grocery stores have bare shelves, events have been cancelled.....
It's almost like 2020 in some ways, with the officials telling us to stay home and stay off the roads unless really necessary to be out. Year's worth of rain in just one day in some places.
Well if that's not impressive or newsworthy, I don't know what is.
