That family doctor did a very good thing for me. As I waited for treatment he put me on a blood pressure medication. Propanolol. It's sometimes used for anxiety off label. I felt better but couldn't keep up with enough calories. Be sure to eat enough as you wait for treatment. I wish you all the best!

I have been prescribed methimazole and I got the odd heart palp, but nothing persistent. My blood pressure was 100/60. RHR was 60 bpm at the specialist’s office. I saw an endocrinologist and will be seeing him again later in the fall.
I had anorexia nervosa. I’m eating well and avoiding foods that are recommended that I avoid.
