Hi @Grapejuice welcome to MSF. I am sorry you are having feelings coming up. You can talk about your feelings in general terms if you care to.
Graphic descriptions do tend to trigger some people so I find it better to describe the situation as trauma or abuse for example rather than give all the details of what happened. This might be good with your therapist too.
I find if I need to vent details, that a journal either written or audio works. I tend to want to seek how to cope with the situation rather than keep digging it up, but exploring it to find out how I feel is something I have done.
