@openeyes: I went to a faith-based dinner last night with the boss. Very nice event. It's very informal with a lot of group discussion.

In a couple of hours, the band will meet for breakfast at the airport and then we'll spend about 4 hours rehearsing, which I greatly look forward to.

Saturday night, I'll be watching a band at a very cool local venue where our band used to play. I'm looking forward to that also.

Then Sunday, Taco Bell Girl and I meet for lunch on Catalina Island, our first face-to-face meeting in 33 years.

I'm excited and nervous at the same time.
