That they are lying to themselves or to others about how perfect their partner is?

That no matter how perfect their partner is, for some reason or another they are not satisfied or happy or they have an illness that requires them to look for attention from the opposite sex?

That they feel very badly about themselves as an individual and look for ways to make themselves feel better with attention from others?

There could be any number of reasons why this individual is doing what they are doing....I'm sure there are many more than what I have come up with.
