Honestly. I'm giving up on a relationship.
I have to have a woman that appeals to me visually. I would have to have a wife has a certain look and build and i doubt i will ever find the complete "package" of looks and characters, so I think I'm better off to just try and fill my life with other things, despite a higher than average sex drive for 57.
This isn't based on magazines or porn or anything like that. It's very simply based on girls I dated in high school and what I find attractive.
I prefer taller, slender women and I've seen several in their 50's that just so totally looked "right" to me. It's not about being physically "perfect," but it's about having certain qualities that just strike me and hold my attention, even if that woman ages, those basic things just have to be there.
I've seen several 50-57 year old women here where I live in SoCal that totally fit the bill as far as looks are concerned, but I'm just not willing (neither have i the self-confidence) to start investigating/dating again.
When I was 48, I dated a Latin woman 15 years older than me. She was petite, small-breasted and had birthed two children. Yet, to this day, I still regard her as one of the most physically beautiful women I have ever dated, and her personality was incredible. However, she eventually told me she was too worried about our age difference to continue our relationship.
I work with an attorney who is 62. I would never admit this to anyone, but she is so absolutely stunning that I can easily get tongue-tied around her if I'm not careful.
I guess I'm just too tired to go shopping anymore....
