this article called "my amygdala, my self" is about a journalist getting a functional mri while viewing images at a transcranial stimulation lab in los angeles.
when i read this i got the feeling that i have a better understanding of what's going on than the correspondent. I can imagine the day parole boards will use this kind of technology to examine the likelihood of recidivism in criminals, etc.
as a depressed person, stories about transcranial stimulation intrigue me, but this is not one of those.
