We cannot maintain the status quo or return to the past, we must push forward into the future. There are of course going to be a few luddites and naysayers. They simply need to be pushed aside.

i just have this gut feeling ... times are going to change, and they are not going to be to our liking at first.. for me, i try to remember there are future generations... its not all about me, right now........
budgeting and interim adjustments will definitely help, and they are something we can do to help ourselves... time is precious....
ive already reduced my driving about 90%.. since i take care of mom, i dont go as many places and i combine trips whenever possible... roadways are accidents waiting to happen around here.. dont want to lose my comfort or security because someone chose to be careless on my way to get groceries....
we all matter and we all make a difference....
exercising our power in the economic markets is what we must do to prevent a complete disintegration of world morality and health (just imo)
