Do your research with a good psychologist, not just a therapist or a social worker, but a highly trained psychologist who can go through the DSM-5 with you and maybe the European ICD-11, if the latter it available because the latter recognizes C-PTSD.

Whether it be C-PTSD or BPD, there are therapies out there to help. DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy), EMDR tapping for instance.

We can, with practice, learn to regulate our emotions and identify and manage triggers.
