So I heard back from Job #1 via email with an emailed list of an offer. Still ony $38,400 with no guarantee of a payraise.
I decided to accept Job #2 and wil do that for as long as I can unless they fire me. (hopefully not). I will continue to apply for higher-paid legal assistant/paralegal jobs while employed in Job #2. It will be easier to get a job while having a job.
