I'm sorry for your situation. When someone is in denial, it is definitely hard to deal with them. My 17-year-old grandson just attempted suicide last week. He fought tooth and nail to keep from being committed. He swears he is not suicidal now. But he finally gave in and is now taking meds and seeing pdoc and therapist.

I don't know what to tell you about your son. The only thing you can do for a person in denial is to stand behind them and pray, if you believe in prayer.
