It's never easy to go against the flow. It's even more difficult to do so when there are other times that you also go with the flow. They won't understand those times you buck them. Generally it isn't worth our self spirit to buck them unless it pertains to long-term matters...those events of short term consequence may not be worth the effort to speak out against.

However, it could be nwtr, that you really don't wish to hang with them any more, though your circumstances demand that you do. Sometimes even being an adult doesn't allow us that freedom.
