My aunt is working as a "normal" doctor in a psych hospital (i.e. if you hurt your foot while there, she treats it). And she talked about the disorders those people have, and went like "it's mostly people with anxiety, depression...", to me the implications immediately were a) she's not seeing psychotic people and b) she does probably have patients like me who have a personality disorder. Nobody in my family knows I have bpd. She then went on to say how the "people who are the worst have personality disorders" and it wasn't said in a way of "the worst issues they have is X", but "those who behave the worst". That was such a weird experience. She for some reason thinks very highly of me. She will talk about my successes rather than her children's (because her children are not as successful academically) to other people. But there she was, saying that the people with issues similar to mine are "the worst".

Ugh, I'm sorry... Hugs, if wanted. I imagine she'd think differently of BPD if she learned you had it. She probably buys into the stereotypes. Hope your T is helpful in talking about this.
