but huh? The government won't let you get flood insurance? You can buy it no matter what in this country. In fact, the homeowner's insurance, even our hurricane insurance doesn't cover flooding. I'm in a no flood zone and still have flood insurance but only for inside water damage. (I don't pay full coverage price because I'm not in a flood zone, but most water damage is done from things like the reason I bought it: my ice maker went on the fritz and flooded the kitchen, twice!)


BUT that isn't the issue is it? You need it to stop raining! Channel it down here... use the Mississippi, or out to the Misouri
