Do you think this sounds okay as a email to a homeless charity?

Hi, I'm gathering up brand new winter clothing for the homeless and am looking for somewhere to donate it to, that will hand it out to the homeless and not sell it on in a charity shop. Do you have somewhere in (my area) that I could take it to, for it to then be handed out to homeless people? Or if not, do you know of any other charities in the (my area) area that would hand the clothing out to the homeless and needy? Thanks for any help.
