I'm sorry things are rough for you, especially being alone. Isolation can really mess with your head, but it's good that you're reaching out. Aviza Calm had some good suggestions. If you have the time, have you considered volunteering? Pet rescues, hospice care, a community center, it might help you meet people and feel more productive. You may also be able to find some cheap or free adult learning classes where you can pick up skills and meet new people. I actually know quite a few people who don't drive and they use public transportation, but I know this is largely dependent on where you live. You might try taking daily walks or getting a bike if you're able.

If you really can't get out much, maybe caring for something would help. A houseplant or a pet? Even something small like a fish, a bird or a hamster.

Please just push yourself to try some new things, even if it's one new thing a month to open up your world a little.
