You are coping just fine.
I know from experience that flashbacks can really suck. But I remind myself that I'm not bad for having them, that I am safe here and now, and that I've come through this before.
Also helps me to use some sort of visualization like putting the challenges mentally into a safe container.
Remembering that I've survived flashbacks before, that I'm learning new self help skills, and that this too shall pass all helps me immensely.
