when my mom was in the hospital last year, it was apparently a lot worse than anyone had told me at the time. My sister let it slip that our mom had literally been minutes away from passing because her heart rate had been so high for too long. But the doctors were able to regulate her heart rate at literally the last minutes possible. So I'm more than a little fearful that that incident weakened her heart too much and that she won't be able to fight the covid now. But then I think well she came back from the heart rate scare, so she's a fighter. I am glad that I went and visited for that week this past May. I'm thinking I'd better plan another trip sooner rather than later.
