Good words to heed though it's tough to do that sometimes. How so many places in the world seem to be taking such a backward slide when it comes to common respect and decency is beyond bats.

When modern extreme conservatism, alone and unchecked, is behind the wheel, it can be NO-ONE'S friend. NO-ONE's. Difficult to smile at the raised jackboot that's always threatening to come down. Eventually it usually gets chewed off at the ankle but Christ Almighty does THAT dance always have to play out?
