Haven't heard anything either but have been avoiding the news.

I believe it is a rational response to be concerned when the words "virus" and "China" are used in the same sentence after the nightmare of Covid. What I gleaned from this article and others is with the lifting of Covid restrictions there's been an increase in respiratory infections in China, just like happened elsewhere when restrictions were lifted. There's also been an increase in the number of cases of pneumonia in kids in China. I've heard similar reports here in the States though.

To me the best course of action is remain alert while remembering this is the season for increases in respiratory infections. Stay alert and take reasonable protections.
