I forgot to say that if we didn't mess with the clocks, I'd be okay with it getting dark about 5:30 pm, which is almost dinnertime. So it's time to settle down for the evening anyway, for me at least. But because of the stupid clock ritual, it's dark about 4:30 here now. As posted, at least people are mostly inside and don't expect everyone to be outside "enjoying this extra hour of daylight with family and friends".

So in a nutshell, I no longer mind the days being shorter or it getting dark faster, just not THAT early.
