It's really a misnomer to think that everyone knows everyone else's sexual preference. I'm not saying this with any malice, ...but it's only been since homosexuals began making it public knowledge that there is any talk about what a person's preference is. Is this part of it's culture?
No one, IRL, truly
knows what my preferences are, and I have no impetus to have to tell them, nor to make sure they know. I think this is true for the majority of people on the earth today. In fact, personally, I would rather people accept me for who I am as they know me, and not have it have anything to do with sex and physical desires.
You get to choose though, but it is one of those things where once you say it to the world, you can't take it back. I am always wary of those types of disclosures anyway, you know? Take care.
