The meds are very effective compared to before I started them. It can be embarrassing for sure. I really recommend the pads to avoid embarrassment.

I don't remember how fast the meds work. They are side-effecty and a lot of people give up on them early on but for me it was worth the issues (I only remember sun/heat sensitivity. I'm sure there are others, those are the ones that have caused problems for me in the past). I'm hoping to try tapering down or off them as a med that was contributing to OAB for me was at toxic levels and now that those are down I want to see if things are ok without the med.
