I didn’t grow up in gun culture and wouldn’t be comfortable with guns not being locked or concealed.
Messy house is a strange comment though. That’s why you need a cleaner. If your house was clean, you’d not need one. That’s just dumb. Maybe it was just an excuse. Maybe she was bothered by smoke smell or who knows. Good riddance. Find a new cleaner.
But put guns away. You don’t want strangers to know you have a gun laying around

I understand that, however it is extremely rude & unprofessional to just lie & not say anything at all.
Rude! It’s not like I threatened her with it! I forgot it was there. I told my husband to put it away. I am having another cleaning service give me an estimate today.
Hopefully they won’t say oh, this house is to dirty, so we won’t clean your house.
Some places need more cleaning than others do.
The lady who recommended her was out of line. She told this lady to not come back. She is another client.
I told her that she shouldn’t have got involved but I thanked her for at least letting me know about things
Also, I think that lady lied about breaking her arm. It wasn’t in a cast & it looked & moved fine.
Don’t you think that she should’ve at least texted me to say she won’t be coming back?
