One of my parents is very unwell, we don’t know how much just yet. One of my closest friends is extremely ill too.

Those are the main things but there’s a bunch of peripheral stuff also happening. And of course we miss my husband’s very brave friend very much.

I’m not religious but I find myself wishing I had some of the ritualistic stuff, such as prayer right now. I feel like everything is in free fall.
