As a single disabled parent she’ll get way more disability than living with a husband. Also other benefits are way higher if you are alone. It sounds like she herself has ton of problems but took on a man with nothing and now is in worse shape than if she was single. Is that a reason she wants out?

It’s probably better for two disabled jobless people with no possessions not get married but just date or what not. Why was there a need to get married?
