Mine OCD is mild so this may not help you at all. I have no idea if my meds help the OCD at all. What has helped me is accepting some of my harmless compulsions. For example I need to lock my car 3 times when get out. It hurts nobody and I feel better. Or I have to fold toilet paper a certain way. Again, hurts nobody (and probably saves me paper).. I can't think of others right now but I'm just you get my point. Things that are harmful I try to prevent, like putting blister bandaids on my fingers if I start picking at my skin. It might look funny but it stops me. If I pick my scalp I get dandruff that I have trouble curing so I try hard to leave it alone and have a routine to help.

I Hope you feel better.
