He sounds like a wonderful cat, Nammu. It's so sad when they have to leave us. 😞 We recently lost one of our cats as well. She was twenty years old too. Cranky old thing. Lol.

Cats are great at sensing our emotions. We got a new cat (she's two. Poor thing came from a hoarder home where there were 130 cats!) and I was upset one night and she was immediately on my lap purring and trying to make me feel better.
