So I googled where’s the best places to get mental health care and the most expensive states came up. California, New York, New Jersey, and surprisingly Hawaii. All northern expensive states except Hawaii which has to be the most expensive of all.

I don’t know what the answer to your question is but I’d avoid the red states for sure. Did any of your CW help you fill out applications for sec 8? They do have waiting lists but they have priorities for those who have mental health issues and are homeless. Once you are on sec 8 in your state you can look into transferring it to another state.
