I had a really long talk with my mom...we shared many things and talked about our past. I invited her to join PsychCentral. She said she did not want to invade my private space. I have thought about it and told her that I think it would be a good thing for her to know what I am thinking, feeling and struggling with.

We have been down a bumpy road, but now we are best friends. She left me when I was about 3 and did not come back until I was a teen. We have worked through our issues and developed a very strong and honest relationship. I feel blessed to have her in my life.
