It is not "wrong" to go to the hospital. If you are loosing your job anyway, it is worth a try.

At the hospital you don't have to be responsible for or to anyone but your self. Think of it as the grown-ups time out.

Depending on the facility they will
stabilize your meds.

check to make sure the diagnosis is correct

provide or contact various services and providers in your area

give you a chance to pull your thoughts together

and of course there are the infamous group counseling sessions (yuck)

Sure hope things start getting better for you real soon
