@DeeeSchmeee68 I learned something by googling Famotidine side effects and how to avoid them | SingleCare

Quote:
The generic over-the-counter stomach acid reducer, famotidine, is commonly used for acid indigestion and heartburn relief. People may know it better by its brand-name versions, Pepcid or Zantac. Prescription famotidine is often prescribed at higher doses to help with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and excess stomach acid caused by hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
I could see how you might feel better if you had acid reflux or heartburn. The problem you may want to consider is some of the known side affects from long term use
Quote:
Common side effects of famotidine
The most common side effect of famotidine is headache, affecting about 1 in 20 people taking the medicine. Other common side effects include:

Dizziness
Diarrhea
Constipation
Changes in taste
Low levels of vitamin B12 (if taken for a long time)
VItamin deficiencies might account for possibly not feeling well. Rather than guess you could go to a doc and have them test you for deficiencies. If not possible maybe a complete vitamin suppliement with 100% or Minimum Daily Requirements is something many people take to make sure they get enough vitamins.
